How
many of you who stay in Delhi have had a chance to explore the make-believe ‘Flea Market’ that’s set-up every Wednesday at Select City Walk? Well, I happened to
discover this fun market a couple of weeks ago (16th August, 2014-
that day it was held on a Saturday 2014 because of security concerns
pre-Independence Day).

Work Wardrobe Essentials: Basic Pieces to Build a Work Wardrobe
Hi
Guys!
I
am back with another fashion video, and this one is all about the Basic items
to Build a Work Wardrobe.
For
those of you who don’t know, I work in a law firm where I’m required to wear ‘business
casuals’ on weekdays (although I sometimes wear business formals for meetings
and black and white court uniform for when I have to go to Court), while on Saturdays,
the dress code is ‘smart casuals’. Now I know, my work environment may differ
from yours, but I’ve tried to put together a bunch of essentials that would
work for a wide range of work settings.
Just
hit the play button to find out what exactly those essentials are. J
BTW, I forgot to include a blazer, which is always a must-have in any work-wardrobe. If you’re starting out, I’d just you pick up a black blazer, only because it works with anything and everything (later you can add gray, navy etc. to your collection).
If you liked the video then please give it a thumbs-up. For more such videos, just subscribe to my YouTube Channel (Clothes and Creativity).

What I Bought at the Flea Market: Janpath Fashion Haul
I
love shopping at flea markets! The whole experience of jostling through vast
crowds and digging through piles of clothes to find hidden treasures, and that
too at dirt cheap prices is just so enthralling! So everytime I want to give my
wardrobe a quick update, without actually breaking the bank, I head to one of
the many flea markets Delhi has to offer. And often I come home with bags full
of goodies- clothes, accessories, footwear, you name it, and you’ll find it at
one these markets.
Now
coming to the best part, I happened to visit Janpath (twice, over a period of few weeks) and
I was quick to scoop up some really great clothes and accessories. Today I’m going
to share with you all my Fashion Finds! Just go ahead and click the play button
to see for yourself all the great bargains that I managed to get.
Hint:
If you like flowy boho tunics, vintage dresses, funky earrings, then you will
most likely like this Haul Video! J You can also
watch what I bought from the ever-popular Sarojini Nagar Market here.
It’d be great if you could drop in a line or two, just sharing your flea market experience (if any).

How to feel and look ‘put-together’ in a jiffy: OOTD
We
all have days when we need to get dressed in a jiffy and yet look polished and on
days especially nothing worthwhile in terms of clothing comes to mind. On those
days, just go basic with your outfit (like a simple dress) and add a bold/bright
accessory.
What
I’m trying to say is that sometimes all it takes is a bright bag and a bright
lipstick (in addition to your basic outfit) to make you look ‘put-together’.
Like here, in this photo where I have just worn a simple printed sundress,
added a brown belt to give it some definition, and pulled together the entire
look by just carrying a bright cherry bag and sporting red lips.
To
be honest, I also wore like a really gorgeous pair of sandals (IMO). But had I
worn even a pair of basic brown sandals, the outfit would have looked equally
good (if not better).
Dress: So old I don’t even remember
where it’s from
Bag: Bali
Footwear: Bata
Lipstick: Maybelline lip-stain
Belt: Flea-market
PS:
I had worn this outfit back in June!

THE SAGA OF MY WEDDING SHOES
Most of you know that I got married
fairly recently and had to do heap-loads of shopping in a really short span of
time. One of the items that needed my attention was my footwear that I'd have
to wear with my wedding lehenga.
You can read the story behind
finding (and then purchasing) my Wedding Shoes at Crazy Indian Wedding
A glimpse of my wedding shoes :)
