How To Wear Ankle Booties: Tips & Outfit Idea

If you’ve seen my Winter Fashion Haul, you’d know that I scored a great pair of ankle booties from Forever 21. However, as much as I loved my new find, I was a little apprehensive about rocking them since they were the first pair of ‘booties’ I’d ever owned. Anyhow, it just took me one wear to sort of ease in to the idea of styling them. I realized that the more I wore them, the more I got comfortable about wearing them with different outfits.  And so I thought I’d share with you some tips and tricks on how to style ankle booties. Easy Outfit Formula for Work/Office + OOTD

How many of us have woken up in the morning with absolutely no clue as to what to wear to work, and in a rush to get ready and reach office on time, we often end up wearing the same run-of-the-mill outfits (read button-up with trousers). I know I have faced this ever so often.

What’s with the weather guys! Playing hot and cold, and making it difficult to dress appropriately.

I know I have been MIA for quite some time now, but I have a good reason for the same. I was out-of-station for a friend’s wedding, and now that I am back I plan to be regular with the blog posts.

Pumpkin Spice: Work Outfit

Peacock Green Top, Teal Cardigan, Black Skinnies and Scarf: Outfit

I wore this outfit to work on Friday. I know it’s more on the casual side but it was raining and I wanted to be warm. Plus, I was super lazy to get dressed-up for work.

So I just pulled out a peacock green tea and teamed it up with my black skinnies. I added a teal cotton cardigan to keep me cozy and threw on a scarf for some fun. I should have worn black pumps to make the outfit a little office appropriate, but as I mentioned, I was super-lazy and thus chose my silver flats. I stuffed all my stash in my tan bag and I was good to go.

BTW, this teal cardigan is proving to be really versatile. I have teamed it up with tunic+leggings, dress and colour-blocked top+skinnies previously.
