OOTD & Try-On Fashion Haul || KOOVS & Zara

Stripes are a classic in their own right and I really feel that one can't have enough stripe-y items in their wardrobe. At least I feel that whenever I shop, I subconsciously gravitate towards stripes- and that's the reason I bought two striped maxi dresses (and a lot more) from the recent online Koovs Sale. I've also included a beautiful white cape that I bought from Zara fairly recently.

The one in the first photo is pretty much a classic black-white striped maxi, but the bohemian maxi (photo 2) is the one which is my absolute favourite, and that's because I'm not the only one who loves this colourful number, it seems Kareena Kapoor and I have similar taste when it comes to 'fashion'. She was spotted wearing the same maxi on Saif's birthday. And wait for it, just when you thought Kareena and I had only this maxi dress in common, there's another maxi that we both own, but to know which maxi is that you'll have watch the video. ;)

BTW, I also picked up a few kimonos which I'm sure all you kimono fans would love.

Kimono Convert: OOTD

I have been a fairly recent ‘Kimono Convert’. I am not usually the one to jump on to the latest trend bandwagon, and it did take me a while to try on kimonos, but once I did, there was no going back. What to do…they are the easiest thing to throw on, and they make a simple jeans+ tee outfit look instantly dressy. So every time I am in a (wardrobe) fix, I just wear a kimono over my basic outfit and feel ‘put-together’.

Now you might remember this kimono from my Spring/Summer Haul. It’s been a couple of months since I got it, and it was my first kimono ever, but I have worn it like 50 times already!

So last week, when I had to go for a casual meeting, I just paired up this beautiful blue kimono with a pair of dark skinnies and white tank top. To make the outfit a little dressy, I wore my metallic ballet flats, and carried my current favourite Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 handbag in Damier Azur.

OOTD: At the Movies + Sarojini Nagar Haul

If you’ve been reading this blog for some time, you would know that I absolutely love maxi dresses. And another thing that comes close to my liking for maxi dresses is maxi skirt.

Although I do not have a ton of them, I do enjoy wearing the ones that I do have. And this beautiful one that I recently scored from the ever-popular Sarojini Nagar market has quickly become my favourite.

Since the print on the skirt is rather busy, I kept the top simple- basic black tee looked good. I also wore some nice white/gold earrings (another favourite of mine). And since we were going to watch a movie (Bajrangi Bhaijan- in case you’re interested in knowing which one), I did carry a teal cardigan (I get super-cold in the theatre) and a matching bag from Clarks. The top is my sister’s and the skirt, like I said, is from SN. My footwear was a pair of flats from Bata and I also wore my usual rose-gold watch (Tommy Hilfiger).

Vintage Vibe: OOTD + Massive Thailand Haul

Ok! So as I begin typing this post I realise that my blog-posts have been rather erratic, which is clearly not cool, but for those of you who miss me on blogosphere (well, I hope some of you do J), hop on to my YouTube Channel (Clothes and Creativity) where I’m quite active.

Now getting to the outfit that I wore some time last month, it’s a classic tee + jeans combo, but I did add some nice accessories just to take the outfit a notch up. Starting off with the tee, my Husband picked it up from Chatuchak Market (Bangkok) and I absolutely love the cute little lambretta that’s on it. To me, the tee appears to have a vintage-vibe, which is why I love it. I paired it up with some dark blue skinnies from Forever 21. As for accessories, I wore my current favourite white/gold earrings, which you can checkout in this massive Thailand Haul. For shoes, I opted for my newest ballet flats in a dull silver shade. And the gorgeous sunnies are from Chatuchak again.

Sarojini Nagar Fashion Haul: Spring/Summer Clothes and Accessories

If you’re a ‘Delhi Girl’, chances are you’ve visited Sarojini Nagar market at least a dozen times to update your wardrobe. I mean everytime I want to satiate my fashion appetite without actually breaking the bank, I straightaway head to this famous flea market and pick up a few (often many) pieces of clothing and accessories! It’s the perfect place to get a “fashion quick-fix” while ensuring that your wallet doesn’t suffer a dent.

So last weekend I gave SN a visit to update my Spring/Summer Wardrobe. Checkout the lovely gems I got by clicking on the video below.

Nykaa Haul: Making the most of GOSF

Hello lovelies!

Today I am going to share with you my GOSF Nykaa Haul. To tell you honestly, I was not aware of the GOSF till I read about it on a blog. I’m not much of an online shopper you see. But once I read about all the great brands and products that would be on sale, I wasted no time in jotting down a list of products that I would want to buy.
