How to Avoid Looking Boring at Work: Office Outfit

Although I like polished suits, well-cut shirts and pencil skirts for work, the boho side in me itches to come out, even at work. So what if I can't really go boho at work, I do try to break-free from the office-y mould to add some fun to the day-today work-life.

Here is an attempt where I randomly combined my sister's tapered black trousers with a floral grey tunic top and added a structured blazer, just so I was in line with the 'office-look'. I ditched black/nude shoes and gave my brown/beige ruffle ones a spin. And I carried my tan bag (it appears orange-ish in the photo (thanks to the strong flash), which sort of complemented the shoes. I also wore some cute bow earrings but forgot to photograph them. Overall, I was happy with this look. What do you have to say?

How do you manage to keep your office look fun and interesting?
Needless to say, if you follow me on Instagram you would have already given this outfit a dekko! J

PS: Did you checkout all the fun fashion stuff I got from Bali?

  1. I like the tunic top with your trousers - it looks stylish and adds a degree of modesty. I have only recently started to wear trousers to work and I am still a little worried over modesty issues.

I have never tried beige shoes with a black outfit either but they seem to work fine!

  2. Hi, stopping by from the link-up. Cute little blog you got. I love the name of the blog. You look sharp in this Outfit. A black blazer is a must have and yours is quite nice. A floral top is great for Spring too. But I am especially loving those Flats.

I am welcoming you to visit my blog, too. Take Care, Ada. =)
